I am a story-teller.

Obsessed with mythologies, adventures and folklores, these fantastical dreams become a part of my life. A story about a mysterious murder; a story about the knight who becomes a dragon; a story about children expressing their empty anger; a story about being a lonely idealist. Are they just stories, or are they fables about ourselves, our inner vices, and our lost dreams?

My work is inspired by four stories from different regions and cultures. The film By the River is inspired by local Chinese folklore that I have adapted into a modern day ghost story. An illustrated book, The Knight and the Dragon is a new adaptation of a political fable from Burma. I have created a series of works in different media produced around the English folktale, The Crystal Palace. My final two works are based on the short story The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas, a story about utopia by Ursula K. LeGuin.
